Tutorial for Data Download on Cistrome


Users can download the bed or bigwiggle files on Cistrome website using the following steps.

Step 1

For data download, users should first login into the Cistrome Galaxy website, as shown in Figure1.

Go back to CRCistrome website and copy the GSM number of interest in the search result web page, as shown in Figure2.

Step 3

Go to the Cistrome website. Then paste the GSM number in the search box and press the "Search" button, as shown in Figure3.

Press the search result, which would leads to the display of the download section, as shown in Figure4.

(1) Bed file download:

For bed file download, there are two methods:

Method1:

Users can press the "BED Peaks" button in the download section, and then press the "Download to My computer" button in the dropdown list (Figure5-1), which will lead to a verification page with a download button (Figure5-2).

Method2:

Users can press the "BED Peaks" button in the download section, and then press the "Send to Analysis Pipeline" button in the dropdown list (Figure5-1), which will redirect to Cistrome Galaxy website (please confirm you have logged into the website following Step1). On Cistrome Galaxy website, users can download the file in the "History Pane" on the right, as shown in Figure5-3.

(2) Bigwiggle file download:

For bigwiggle file download, users can press the "BIGWIG File" button in the download section, and then press the "Send to Analysis Pipeline" button in the dropdown list (Figure5-4). On Cistrome Galaxy website, users can download the file in the "History Pane" on the right, as shown in Figure5-5.
